Dr. Katalin Nagy

​Katalin Nagy was graduated at the Faculty of Dentistry of University of Szeged (1982) having received her university training, specialist degrees, PhD and habilitation in Szeged and Budapest.

Started her carrier at the same University and she became the founder and very first Dean of the Faculty of the Dentistry of the University of Szeged in 2007.

She had several specialty-degrees:

• 1984: Specialist in Dentistry and Oral Medicine
            Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest, Hungary
• 2001. Specialist in Oral Surgery
• 2004. Specialist in Conservative Dentistry and Prosthetics
• 2019. Specialist in Prosthodontics
• 2020. Specialist in Implantology

She defended her theses and received the title of DSc. at the Hungarian Academy of Science. She speaks fluent English and German and basic Spanish. As former Fulbrighter she is the president of the Fulbright Alumni Szeged chapter and former president of Hungarian Fulbright Alumni Association.

She became the full Professor and the Head of Oral Surgery in 2006. She gained her international academic experinces in United States, Germany, Finland, where she has spent longer period of time in different institutions.

Professor Nagy is currently the advisor of the State secretary on Health Care issues, as a President of the Hungarian Dental Association. Head of Department of Oral Surgery of the University of Szeged, and running her private dental office in Szeged and Budapest.
